The 'Aa-wok Georgiana Trull Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor the work and life of 'Aa-wok Georgiana Trull. 'Aa-wok Georgiana spent more than 40 years of her life dedicated to revitalization of the Yurok language, contributing to an alphabet and publishing a conversation dictionary.
Criteria: California Native student, actively involved in Indigenous language revitalization. Federally and non-federally recognized CA Indigenous people are eligible to apply. Recipients must be attending and actively enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college/university, a graduate program, or trade/vocational school.
Scholarship Amount: $2,500 or more

Criteria: Native American/Alaska Native descendancy, demonstrated focus of Native Culture with genuine involvements in cultural revitalization.

Trinidad Civic Club Scholarships
Academic Scholarship Criteria: Must live in the ZIP Code area for Orick, Trinidad, or McKinleyville, attend a Humboldt area high school, applicant is in the upper 20% of graduating class, has applied to a college or university, and is involved in community service and leadership. This scholarship is intended for applicants who will be attending a post-high school job training program that will give them the skills, technological savvy and a certificate or diploma necessary to secure a high demand, good paying job in six months to two years.
